Occasionally we will post Life of Dignus Medical, here you will get an insight into how our week has been.

Initially, we will also introduce our skilled staff.

Where did the Dignus Medical concept come from?

In the 2000s, we  were also running an agency which recruited leaders and specialists under the same name of Dignus which comes from Latin – Dignity –  something we like to be associated with. We have got more and more hospitals on our customer list that we recruited managers to. We were considered as thorough and skilled and were recommended to work with medical specialists. The natural name of the doctor’s concept became then Dignus Medical. We sold the Dignus companies in 2009 to brand the Dignus Medical concept.

Why is it so rewarding to work as a CEO in Dignus Medical?

Challenging tasks, nice and demanding customers and candidates. It is especially rewarding to work with our skilled and professional team that makes my job so easy.

Is there anything exciting going on in Dignus Medical?

We have introduced a new CRM system that we hope to be useful both for customers and candidates and that gives us access to various up-to-date technical platforms. Everything happens electronically these days. The introduction of GDPR rutines and that we were ISO 9001 and 14001 re-certified  were also”exciting” news.

What do you do when you are not the CEO in Dignus Medical?

I am vigorous – with that I mean long walks in woods and mountains, kayaking and swimming to keep this “vigorous” body fully energized. 

Consultants

Our Swedish super consultants Tobias and Carolina went for a client meeting tour this Thursday.

Jørgen have just returned from an exciting client meeting tour but already Jørgen and Henning (respondible for Family medicine in Norway) are planning a new client meeting tour. Where do you think they are going next?

Every Friday our Swedish colleagues enjoy a nice breakfast together. Obviously the breakfast give them positive energy to work hard the rest of the day.

Research

Building new competence is something we in research value most. Once a month we have a “blackboard meeting”. Our Head of Research Magdalena chooses one member of the research team who is responsible to hold a lecture for the rest of the team. This Monday it was Steffen who was the lucky one, with the theme: Swedish education and authorization process for doctors.

Research did also have a meeting to plan strategy for 2019. There are some exciting events to come next year….
