We are seeking a mammoradiologist to join the Breast Diagnostic Center at Ålesund Hospital, a leading healthcare provider in Møre og Romsdal, Norway. This position plays a important role in the hospital’s breast cancer screening and diagnostic services.

About the position:
Ålesund Hospital serves a broad population across the Møre og Romsdal region and is equipped with modern radiology technology, including X-ray, ultrasound, CT and MRI, alongside a strong focus on breast diagnostics. The Breast Diagnostic Center is a hub for comprehensive cancer care in the area, contributing significantly to early breast cancer detection. As a mammoradiologist, you will lead efforts in breast diagnostics, interpreting mammograms, conducting ultrasounds and performing biopsies as part of breast cancer detection and treatment.
Key responsibilities:
- Interpret mammograms, perform breast imaging with ultrasound and conduct biopsies for accurate diagnoses.
- Participate in the Mammography Screening Program for women aged 50–69.
- Collaborate with an experienced multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care and discuss complex cases.
Requirements:
- European authorization as a medical professional.
- European certification as a radiologist specializing in mammography and breast diagnostics.
- Proficiency in English and motivation to learn Norwegian through our free language school
- Expertise in mammography, ultrasound and breast biopsy procedures.
