We are currently seeking motivated and skilled obstetric specialists to join our network in Norway
In Norway, obstetricians typically work in hospitals, maternity units and specialized clinics, providing care for pregnant women throughout their pregnancy, labor, and postnatal periods. As healthcare in Norway continues to focus on providing comprehensive maternal care, we are looking for dedicated specialists who are interested in relocating.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive obstetric care, including prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum management.
- Conduct routine check-ups, ultrasounds and assessments to monitor the health of pregnant patients and their fetuses.
- Perform deliveries, both vaginal and cesarean, while managing any complications that may arise.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including midwives and pediatricians, to ensure integrated care for mothers and infants.
- Educate patients on pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum care, providing support and guidance throughout the process.
- Participate in hospital committees and quality improvement initiatives related to maternal health.
Professional requirements:
- Medical license and specialist approval in obstetrics from an EU country.
- Board-certified in obstetrics with a minimum of two years of experience as a specialist.
- Ability to manage a diverse patient population with varying medical conditions and needs.
- Strong English language skills, and motivated to learn Norwegian.
