Would you like to be a key player in performing clinical breast diagnostics and mammography screening?

On behalf of a hospital approximately 30 minutes from Oslo, we are seeking a specialist in mammoradiology.

The position involves investigation of diseases in the breast and thyroid gland, as well as breast diagnostics, including participation in mammography screening programs. You will work in an interdisciplinary team and collaborate closely with mammaendocrine surgeons, oncologists, and pathologists. The hospital’s mammaendocrine surgical outpatient clinic is co-located with the radiological outpatient clinic.

Responsibilities:

  • Clinical and radiological multimodal breast diagnostics.
  • Mammography screening (interpretation).
  • Image-guided sampling.
  • Participation in Multidisciplinary Team meetings.

Qualifications:

  • European authorization as a medical professional.
  • European certification as a radiologist.
  • Updated knowledge and solid experience in mammography diagnostics and image-guided sampling.
  • You need to be able to communicate in one of the Scandinavian languages before you start, if you do not already know any of these, a language course will be offered – free of charge.
